There are also many off shore activities such as horse riding and volleyball. Pedaloes are a very popular choice amongst tourists, and nowadays you will find that many of them have slides on the back. Hiking is a popular choice amongst people as there are many country lanes for you to wander. There is so much for you to experience such as palaces and monasteries. Cycling is also very popular around the countryside of some of the islands as it gives you the perfect opportunity to see the sights around you. Golfing is popular on islands such as Majorca as it is a well-known as a golfing destination. The courses are popular but can be crowded so it is important to get there early if you are going to try it.

The Balearic Islands offer so much to everyone including hot air balloon flights. In Places like Majorca and Menorca, you can view the entire island either in the morning or at night and it is definitely one of the most popular things to do. There are plenty of shops selling everything that you could possibly imagine including clothes, sportswear, leather goods, souvenirs, food and electrical goods. There are plenty of beaches for you to choose from, with beach side bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The restaurants offer all types of cuisine including Chinese, English, Spanish and Italian, as well as many others. There are various bars offering top British DJ's, live music acts and karaoke to keep you entertained throughout the evening.
Balearic Islands Weather and Climate
The weather in the Balearic Islands is very comfortable, rarely going above 30C in the summer and having hardly any rain. For sun worshippers, it is the perfect destination. The weather in winter is slightly colder, however, the temperature rarely drops below 10C. Water temperatures remain high, making water sports perfect. The water temperatures range between 18C and and 26C so it is very comfortable for those taking part in water sports. Between September and November it is likely to rain and be colder so if you were visiting at this time then warmer clothing would be advised.
