Many mainstream and underground acts will be performing at the third TransArdentes Festival which is set to be held at the Halles des Foires located in Leige, Belgium. The festival offers up different types of dance music from the varying acts.
The first two years of the TransArdentes festival was a huge success selling out both times and both held at the Halles des Foires in three rooms. The most popular of the three will be the enormous Pyramid Room where you the likes of Zombia Nation, Renaissance Men, Laidback Luke and Fake Blood will be in attendance. The Cube Room will be playing drum and bass well into the morning, provided by Ed Rush & Optical, Noisia and System D. Finally, the Sphere Room coughs up names like Carl Craig and Radio Slave, Laurent Gernier and Chris Liebing. The festival has come into some great success and proves there is definitely a market for such an event, so much sore that around 10,000 people are expected to attend.
The growth of this phenomenon means that looking into the future bigger acts may be swayed into the idea of attending, like David Guetta. If the popularity did grow to such an extent then the prestige of the event may even surpass the expectation of the festivals creators. The initial aim was to give Liege its own identity within music, but with TransArdentes there is definite potential for the festival to become a major attraction and a big date on music festival calendars with end result having more people attend, perhaps many of which from overseas.
