Children have a major influence on where families go on holiday according to a recent poll commissioned by Teletext Holidays.
80% of 2000 children said that their parents sometimes or always let them help choose where the family would be going on holiday.
17% of children said their parents always let them help to choose where they would go on holiday, 61.4% said that parents sometimes allowed them to help and 21.6% said that they had no say in the decision.
Children have a much bigger influence on holidays than they used to which is why it is important for companies to advertise family holidays towards children as well.
However, it is important to still market holidays towards adults as they need to find the holiday appealling as well as they are the ones that will be paying for it.
