Egypt and Turkey Best for Budget

Our Survey Says…

A recent study has shown that tourists love a good bargain, but who doesn’t love value for money? What the study also shows is that Egypt and Turkey have become the top choice when it comes to saving cash when enjoying a break in the sun. It appears if you are keeping a close eye on your expenditure, then a trip to either of the non-euro destinations on all inclusive deals will mean that you can save a bundle.

The survey also showed that Mexico and New Zealand have a steady popularity with long haul travellers. The study undertaken was the American Express third quarter currency index. It highlighted both Egypt and Turkey as the destinations which have shot up in popularity with British tourist’s year on year. These trends are set to increase going into 2011.

The study shows various factors which basically dictate the market and explain why certain trends occur. It seems that the current economic climate is affecting feelings towards holidays in the summer. People are more than happy to sit and enjoy the summer back in the UK then snap up all inclusive deals in the colder months.

The more people seek for deals out of season, the more that summer offers will come down. In the next few years there might be a growth in peak summer bargains as the industry tries to get people to make bookings during that period. However, families will always be using summer as the ideal chance to enjoy a holiday.
