Join Harry Potter in Florida’s Latest Attraction

Experience the magic of ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’

Harry Potter fans from around the world will be dusting off their wands and drawing on their lightning bolt scars for the opening of the long awaited ‘Wizarding World of Harry Potter’ in Florida. The much anticipated attraction is the latest to be added to Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure and will transport fans of the wizard hero into his magical world. From Hogwarts to The Three Broomsticks Inn, recognisable monuments and locations from the books and films will be brought to life. Visitors can enjoy indulging their sweet tooth in Honeydukes sweet shop before exploring the exact replica of Dumbledore’s office. One of the main attractions of the park is the thrilling ‘Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey’ ride that takes visitors on an adventure that includes an exhilarating Quidditch match and an escape from a fearsome dragon.
With close collaboration with the makers of the popular Harry Potter films and input from J. K Rowling herself, the park is as close to real as fans can expect. Small details such as delicious pints of butter beer in the Hogs Head pub all add to the experience. Even the famous moving portraits that line the corridors of Hogwarts are designed to speak to each other as visitors make their way through the labyrinth of rooms. With state of the art technology, fans of Harry Potter can find themselves in a room with characters from the book which includes getting a warm welcome from Professor Dumbledore as you enter his office. The attraction is due to open to ‘muggles’ (otherwise known as the general public!) on June 18th and is guaranteed to be the experience of a lifetime for any fans of the scarred wizard.
