More holidays being taken over the Easter break

With the royal wedding and the Easter bank holiday so close together, giving us two successive four day weekends, many are bridging the three days inbetween to increase their holiday. An increasing number are choosing to travel in the second quarter as opposed to the third due to cheaper prices and the extra time off over Easter.
Thomas Cook have seen a 35% rise, in the last four weeks, in bookings for the Canaries for this period. With sterling gaining against the euro and a three low in prices in Spain, holidays this Easter are now more afforable and it looks set to be a very sunny Easter for many.
