New Hilton Opening
Just when the name Hilton appeared to be falling from the limelight into a world of obscurity, the international brand of hotels going by the same name has recently opened yet another luxury accommodation for tourists to enjoy. The new Hilton hotel has been built in the Dutch city The Hague (Den Haag) which is a few miles west along the coast from the capital city Amsterdam. The hotel can be found on Noordeinde Street which is well known for its upper class status. Along the street and in the area you can find 15 art galleries, designer shops and various stately buildings.
The new Hilton hotel is a renovation of a 1950’s building which is the former HQ for the Royal Dutch Telecom. The upscale of the building retains an old charm on the outside whilst the inside has been modernised with the luxury you would expect from any of the Hilton hotels.
The Hague is the Netherlands third biggest city and its brand new Hilton is the country’s fifth. The Hague has plenty of great hotels throughout the city, but the inclusion of the Hilton hotel doesn’t just provide a new option, it provides one with great location to many of the cities key attractions.
This beautiful city is a very interesting and beautiful place which is typical of the ‘Golden Age’ that the country is enjoying. The Hague is the home to Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands as well as the seat of the Dutch Government, which is a great example to what the city is all about.
