The average temperature of the Costa Brava is around 22°C, however it can reach 30°C during the summer. On average, you will find that you get around 12 hours of sunshine a day during the summer, with this amount halving in the winter. July and August tend to be the hottest months so if you want it a bit milder then it is best to visit in May or June. There is barely any rain in Costa Brava, an it mainly falls between September and February, with December being the wettest month. During the autumn, the temperatures tend to be around 21-24°C and in winter they drop to 16°C.
