Costa del Silencio has a very short transfer time of just 15 minutes, due to the airport being so nearby. There is a limited amount of things for people to do as it is a quiet resort, so it is important that people remember when booking that they will be using the facilities that their accommodation has to offer a lot. Costa del Silencio is located on the south of the island meaning it does see some of the best weather.

Costa del Silencio is good for both children and adults, with activities suiting them both. There are some parks for the children to play in as well as some playgrounds. All of these are safe for children to use, to keep your mind at rest. For those of you who enjoy sport, there are tennis courts, squash courts, mini-golf and plenty of pools to go swimming in. If you enjoy walking, then exploring the area is a good idea. There are some water sports available to you from the rocky shores such as snorkelling and diving but you have to be careful when doing this.
Costa del Silencio - plenty of sights to see
Although Costa del Silencio is a quiet resort, there is still a lot to see. You will be able to see a lot of wildlife such as green parrots and hawks. You will find that most of the accommodation in Costa del Silencio offers a self-catering board basis and you will also notice that there are four large apartment complex known as Ten-Bel. There are few places to eat should you decide to so it is a good idea to travel into Playa de las Americas. In order to get to last Americas, you will have to get a bus, which come every 30 minutes. If you want to do some shopping then there are a few small shops but the best thing to do would be to go to the shopping centre in Playa de las Americas or Santa Cruz.
Costa Del Silencio Weather and Climate
Costa del Silencio is one of the warmest resorts on the island because of its location. It is rain free for the majority of the year with the best weather in August. The temperature rarely falls below 15C in the winter and in the summer it is around 30C. Being on the south coast means that the water temperatures are also warmer which is good for people interested in trying water sports.
