Cyprus Weather and Climate
Cyprus is a destination that you can visit at any time of the year, with hot summers and mild winters. If you visit in the summer it is highly advisable that you have air conditioning in your room as temperatures at both day and night can be uncomfortable. There are over 300 days of sunshine, with August being the hottest month, reaching temperatures well over 30°C. January is the coolest month, however temperatures still manage to reach around 17°C. If you stay by a beach then you have the luxury of the cooling sea breeze that keeps the levels of humidity down to make you feel more comfortable. From June to August, you will see around 12 hours of sunshine a day and in the winter, you will still see over 4 hours. Between December and February the rain falls at times, however the average rainfall is only for 40 days out of the year and when it does rain, it dries up very quickly.
