Halkidiki – Weather & Climate

Greece is blessed with some terrific weather all year long and Halkidiki holidays offer you the chance to enjoy it. Over summer you can enjoy high temperatures of over 20°C on average. July and August are considered the hottest months as they provide temperatures reaching up to 30°C, also during those months the days offer 12 hours of sunshine to enjoy the great weather. Rainfall is practically non-existent over summer, so you can leave your jackets at home.

Winter isn’t as warm as summer which I’m sure will come as no surprise, but you can still expect warm temperatures and plenty of sun. Certain months such as September and November still enjoy temperatures above 10°C along with 5 hours of sunshine too. Most of the year’s rainfall comes in December and January, but once February comes to a close the warm sun returns, which is ideal for those looking to enjoy an early Easter break.
