Back on land there are various family activities like horse riding and bikes for hire to go on rides around the town. Boat excursions are available which will take tourists over to neighbouring islands for a day trip in other areas. The best excursion you can enjoy is the trip to Kos Town as it is there where you will unlock the to ability to travel to other islands and resorts, you can also enjoy some great shopping in the islands capital as it offer various clothes, jewellery and souvenirs shops.

There are plenty of places to go to enjoy a fine evening meal, most of which are located towards the beach front providing great views. You can select from Greek and British restaurants as well as many places serving very tasty seafood dishes. This variety of cuisine makes the resort capable of catering for various tastes.
On an evening you can enjoy one of the bars available which serve cocktails and are open fairly late on an evening. You can wind down the day with a drink or two whilst listening to live music in some of the bars.

Kos is an island that experiences very hot summers and Tingaki is one of the ideal resorts to enjoy the terrific heat. Over summer you can enjoy temperatures that exceed 25°C at times, especially during the peak months of July and August. During the peak summer months you can expect no clouds which means no rain resulting in endless days of sunshine and blue skies.
While summer enjoys around 12 hours of sunshine winter experiences 5, while temperatures soar up to 25°C during summer winter averages between 10-15°C. Though the numbers are much lower during the winter period it still means that it is quite mild making it a destination that has good weather throughout the whole year. Many people visit during spring and autumn when prices can be lower and temperatures are still very good.
Most of the years rainfall in Tingaki comes between October and May with December in particular being the wettest month.
