Lloret de Mar – North East Coast of Spain
Based up in the Costa Brava the lively resort of Lloret de Mar is a very popular resort especially with groups of singles looking for great weather and a great nightlife. Families and couples do also travel to the resort but they tend to do so outside the peak months to avoid the masses. The main beach in the area has fine pale sands and blue waters washing up on it, if you are looking for somewhere not too crowded then you will find smaller ones nearby also.

Over the summer you can enjoy an average temperature of around 22°C in Lloret de Mar and during the peak months it isn’t uncommon to experience highs of over 30°C. This heat can be taken advantage of during the 12 hours of daily sunshine which offers a great chance to work on your tan. The peak months of July and August are the best times to visit for weather as there will be clear blue skies and not a drop of rain.

Although the winter period see’s the most rainfall you can still expect things to clear up fairly quick and welcome back the sun for around 5 or 6 hours a day.
