Puerto Banus – South Coast of Spain
Based in the popular region Costa del Sol on the south of Spain holidaymakers will find that Puerto Banus has plenty to offer. Arguably the best beach in Puerto Banus is Artola beach which stretches out for a mile and has fine sands and warm waters.

The public transports system is very good and you will be able to travel around the Costa del Sol to do further exploring.
Puerto Banus – Fun & Activities
Either you can soak up the sun on any of the fine beaches such as Artola beach or you can take advantage of the many great activities that will keep you occupied all through the day. Activities available include jet skiing, water skiing, surfing, windsurfing, pedalo rides, scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing, fishing or if you’re lucky watch the dolphins that patrol the waters.
You may prefer to do more activities away from the beach and in that case you can go for a hike or a mountain bike ride through the near mountainous area. This is the best way to get to some great view points of the Costa del Sol, and it’s wise to take your camera with you to enjoy the picturesque views when you get back home.
There are plenty of sports to play in Puerto Banus like horse riding which is available for both beginners and experienced riders. There are many tennis courts where you can work on your serve or golf courses to work on your swing whilst enjoying the terrific weather.
There are plenty of fine shops available in Puerto Banus offering designer jewellery, clothes, electrical goods and souvenirs. You may want to travel around the Costa del Sol and find other shopping possibilities on offer. Over in Marbella you will find an excellent, yet expensive, Versace boutique.
Puerto Banus – Food & Nightlife
Puerto Banus is well prepared for a variety of taste no matter what tourists want, you can expect fine international cuisines from top British, American, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Indian and Chinese restaurants. You will find some fantastic seafood restaurants that are a great option to have.
The nightlife in Puerto Banus is highly recommended, there are plenty of great bars to head to. One bar in particular, Linkers Bar, frequently draws in celebs many of which are UK football and TV stars. Many top DJ’s come to the resort to play sets in some of the clubs in the area also. All these factors give Puerto Banus a really good atmosphere and entertaining night out. Down the coast at Marbella you enjoy just as good a night if you feel the need to mix things up.

Peak summer months July and August provide Puerto Banus with scorching temperatures that go as high as 29°C. These months provide days that are full of endless sunshine, and by the end of your holiday you will have forgotten what rain and clouds are. The great heat affects the waters in a positive sense also making them warm enough to spend the day paddling in.
Over winter things will remain warm still, rarely dropping past the 12°C mark which makes this resort ideal for escaping cold winter back home. The months that see the most rainfall in the resort are November and January, but even then the warm climate will clear things up comfortably. As it comes to February the temperatures begin to pick up once again.
