Golf del Sur is located close to the airport on the south coast of Tenerife. Golf del Sur holidays offer a lot of golfing experiences for those people that are golf lovers. There is a very short transfer time from the airport into Golf del Sur, however this means that you may experience noise from the aircraft's at various times in the day. The hotels in Golf del Sur are primarily 4-star hotels, however, although these hotels may have some good facilities, there is little else for children and non-golf lovers to do. There is some nightlife and shops around for people to try, but it is more for couples older groups rather than children.

Golf del Sur is obviously famous for its golf, which is why it s home to a championship golf course. Something for the up and coming golfers is the mini golf course where equipment can be hired. There are a few activities other than golf for people to try, including tennis, bowling and diving. There is a commercial centre known as San Blas which is where you will find restaurants and bars as well as shops full of souvenirs. You can also catch a bus from Golf del Sur that will take you into Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos where you can then catch a boat trip that will allow you to spot whales and dolphins.
Golf del Sur - quiet and safe resort
Golf del Sur does have some sources of entertainment from bars and restaurants in the evenings. This all takes place in the commercial centre of San Blas. There are entertainers in the square as well as the chance to do your shopping. Golf del Sur is a resort that people visit all year round due to the good weather. Another appeal, is that there are no health risks and most service charges are already included in bills.

Golf del Sur is one of those resorts that stays warm and sunny all year round. July and August receive the most hours of sunshine. There is not much rainfall in Golf del Sur as it is in the south of the island, which makes it even more popular with tourists. The winter months still have fairly high temperatures of 15C showing that Tenerife des have mild winters. The temperature will never increase much more than 30C in Golf del Sur during the summer months making a comfortable heat to be in.
