Paphos – plenty of restaurants to choose from

Public transport in Paphos is very good, with regular buses taking you in and around the resort from early morning until late evening. You will also find a lot of taxis in the area that are available 24 hours a day.
Paphos Weather and Climate
Paphos is a very hot resort with temperatures sometimes reaching above 40°C. You are guaranteed to need high factor sun cream when visiting this destination. July and August are the hottest months in Paphos with average temperatures of 35°C. You will also have 13 hours of pure sunshine a day. Winters are very short and mild with January and February being the coldest months. Even though they are cold, they still have temperatures of at least 15°C. Rainfall only occurs 40 days out of the year but this is very short lived and the sun still tends to shine. There is not always a breeze in Paphos so many people decide to keep to the shade at times. The temperature will not fall below 30°C from June to September, leaving you with warm sea temperatures, making it perfect for water sports. The night also remains warm so it is advised that you get air conditioning in your accommodation.

Bournemouth Airport will lose 5 of its routes from Thomsonfly next summer, however 2 new ones will be added.
Thomsonfly flights to Alicante, Pisa, Salzburg, Tenerife and Valencia will no longer be operating from May 1st, however flights to Dalaman and Heraklion will be introduced to Bournemouth Airport.
Bournemouth already has flights with Thomsonfly to Faro, Ibiza, Malaga, Palma and Paphos and these will be staying. At the moment, two Boeing 737 aircrafts are used by Thomsonfly at Bournemouth, however the new changes will mean that only one will be in use.
There will be no loss of destinations on offer as other airlines fly to Alicante, Pisa and Tenerife from Bournemouth. Dalaman and Crete are then going to replace Salzburg and Valencia.
BA is to launch new routes from London City, Heathrow and Gatwick airports next year.
From March, flights from London City into Nice will commence. BA CityFlyer will be conducting these flights. Flights to Amsterdam, Warsaw and Barcelona will then follow from May. The airline also hopes to increase the number of flights to Zurich to 5 a day.
The changes come after a survey was conducted on where passengers want to fly from and where they want to fly to.
Heathrow Airport will offer flights to Malaga daily, while Gatwick will offer flights to Alicante, Gibraltar, Palma and Ibiza daily. Gatwick will also offer flights to Faro 13 times a week, Malaga twice daily and Tunis five times a week.
The Gatwick and Heathrow flights will begin on March 30th 2008, apart from the Gatwick flights to Alicante, Gibraltar, Ibiza and Palma which will commence from June 2008.
BA are however suspending services from Gatwick to Aberdeen, Nice and Prague and London City flights to Milan.
