Playa Paraiso is probably one of the most relaxed resorts on the whole island with not much to do at all except enjoy the sun in calm scenic surroundings. The resort itself lies at the bottom of Mount Teide and the view of this makes the landscape around you very interesting.

The transfer from Tenerife South Airport will be at least an hour and a half so you may as well make the best of it by admiring the beautiful scenery of the island on your travel. You can also take note of nearby resorts on your travel should you wish to venture out of Playa Paraiso on your holiday.

There is plenty of good accommodation available in Playa Paraiso most of which directed towards families and couples who are looking for a peaceful holiday. There are a couple of small beaches about but you may want to travel a little in order to find something bigger and better.

Playa Paraiso – Fun & Activities

Again the beaches available are relatively small and offer nothing except the ability to be laid on as well as take a dip. These beaches won’t get too crowded despite being small because people tend to look for beaches that are bigger and offer a little more to do. This would mean travelling to one of the resorts close by and there you are likely to find fun water sports like diving, windsurfing, snorkelling and bungee jumping.

Playas de las Americas is worth a trip to as you can enjoy water sports, mini golf and even go on a boat trip to see whales and dolphins out in the Atlantic Ocean. Visit Puerto de las Cruz and you can enjoy Loro Parque, Aqua Park and excursion up and around Mount Teide.
br /> You will find a couple of shops selling clothes and souvenirs for youself or those back at home, but again travelling to another resort is the only way of widening your options.

Playa Paraiso – Food & Nightlife

There are a good variety of restaurants to choose from in Playa Paraiso, and even a fish and chip shop. There are even a few British pubs were you can grab a bite to eat as well as various other cuisines. You will only find night entertainment in your hotel and for anything extra it’s Playas de las Americas for you. This resort is conveniently close enough to the islands party resort to go and enjoy a great late night, but far enough away to sleep undisturbed. Despite that fact you will rarely see any young groups setting up camp in Playa Paraiso to take advantage of the peaceful sleeps at the end of the night.

Playa Paraiso Weather and Climate

Found on the South West coast of Tenerife, Playa Paraiso has some of the islands best weather. The temperature during summer will be over 20°C and there will be next to no rain over that period either.

The winter temperature won’t drop much lower than 15°C though you can expect a little more rain, but it should clear up quickly enough. This time of year is still very warm and attracts visitors who often have their Christmas and New Year’s celebrations here.
