The beach is the place to be in Sidari where you can pull up a sun lounger or lay down a towel to take advantage of the endless hours of summer sun and work on your tan. Aside from simply relaxing you will also be able to try one of the many water sports on offer around the beach, including snorkelling, scuba diving, windsurfing, surfing, water skiing and jet skiing.
Away from the beach you can take advantage of the beautiful countryside on the island and just take walks out into the hills surrounding Sidari. There is a small water park in the resort which is popular with children as they can spend the day playing on the various rides and slide there. You can enjoy a number of other activities including go karting, bowling and mini golf. Boat trips are another thing tourists can enjoy where the glass bottoms allow people to see deep into the Mediterranean Sea.
Sidari – Food & Nightlife
There are plenty of resturants to choose from when you are looking for a fine evening meal or just a snack during the day. While there are plenty of places serving up great traditional Greek cuisine as well as great seafood, elsewhere you will be to choose British, Italian, Mexican and Chinese dishes. Sidari hotels will also provide food for their residents with a varied menu.
While there are a few bars located around Sidari the nightlife itself is quite quiet tying in with the main theme of the resort. In the bars you will be able to enjoy cocktails and live music till late, Sidari hotels also provide some late night entertainment.
Sidari Weather and Climate
There is some terrific weather to enjoy in Sidari most of which coming during summer. In summer you will be able to enjoy an average of 13 hours of sunshine which makes for very sunny days. The peak summer months are July and August where the temperatures will go as high as 30°C at times.
During winter the temperature will drop but won’t go any lower than 12°C which means that Sidari has great weather all year long. During winter the hours of sunshine are still good despite being half of that of summer. The most rainfall will come from November onwards through to early spring, but as spring goes on the temperatures will once again rise high.
