There are thousands of miles of coastline in USA meaning there is plenty of space for you to relax or take part in water sports. The water sports available include surfing, windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, kite-surfing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, parasailing and kayaking. Fishing has been known to be very popular in various areas such as Florida, with plenty of areas for you to choose from and a variety of fish to catch. Golf has also become increasingly popular with over 1000 courses located within the sunshine state. Day trips include exploring the Kennedy Space Centre, relaxing and shopping Miami or swimming with the dolphins in the Florida Keys.
United States of America – a range of restaurants to choose from
The USA is home to many restaurants, each with different cuisines. Many places offer fresh seafood thanks to the brilliant fishing facilities, as well as Chinese, Thai, Italian, French and fast food such as McDonald's. There are many different settings in many restaurants and you will find a number of open-air, candle-lit dinners for your enjoyment. There are options for budget meals as well as more luxurious meals so everyone is catered for. When it comes to nightlife in the USA, there is plenty to choose from. You can have a relaxed cultural evening in one of the many art galleries or museums or go and enjoy the ballet or the opera. There are also a number of bars offering live music and entertainment and many nightclubs that stay open late into the night, offering a variety of music. Public transport here is good, with many taxis and buses available, all being efficient, reliable and offering reasonable fares.

One of the USA's main attractions is its climate. The Florida Keys and the southern tip of Florida offer a tropical climate with around 300 days of pure sunshine a year as do some other states. It can be very humid at times here, however by the coast, humidity will drop due to coastal breezes. June to August is when the hottest weather comes in, with temperatures reaching 32°C. During the summer months it is has been known to rain every day at around 3pm. Although the showers are very heavy at the time, they rarely last very long. During Autumn and Winter, the USA is very dry and temperatures are still quite high at around 23°C.
